William Shatner interviews Brad Collins from American Solar Energy Society

Established in 1954, the nonprofit American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is the nation's leading association of solar professionals & advocates. Their mission is to inspire an era of energy innovation and speed the transition to a sustainable energy economy. Brad Collins the Executive Director of American Solar Energy Society appeared on the Heartbeat of America National Television Show hosted by William Shatner.  It was aired over the American Life Television Network and other media.  Mr. Collins was interviewed at the Los Angeles Heartbeat News Studio by William Shatner, Doug Llewellyn of “People’s Court” fame, and famous network news anchors.

Last year the American Solar Energy Society published the groundbreaking Green-Collar Jobs report which showed that renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors generate more than 9 million jobs and $1 trillion in annual revenue in the U.S. The second report, Tackling Climate Change in the U.S., demonstrated how renewable energy and energy efficiency can provide the carbon emissions reductions needed to mitigate climate change. ASES efforts have been highlighted by leading media outlets across the U.S. including: the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, NPR, Time, Business Week, NBC, Fox News, San Jose Mercury News, Rocky Mountain News, and countless others.

Brad Collins was presented the prestigious Heartbeat of America Award by Retired Rear Admiral Kevin F. Delaney for his incredible work. This award has previously been presented to Nobel Prize winners, mayors, corporate leaders, business and professional organizations of every kind that exemplify America’s entrepreneurial spirit.
