Recent headlines and figures released by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) emphasise the critical importance of managing risk and assessing the safety of HPHT operations. According to an article recently published by Food & Water Watch, the oil industry is not yet ready "to deal with a sub sea explosion in deep water".
