As per the OSHA standards, there are four construction hazards that are widely responsible for all the losses related to the construction industry. These factors are referred to as the OSHA Focus Four. It is emphasized that workers should be made aware of these hazards and should be able to recognize and respond to them accordingly.

The objectives covered in this course are as follows:
* Detailed understanding of the working of electricity.
* Understanding and recognizing all the activities that can cause struck by and caught in between accidents.
* Lengthy discussions on engineering controls and work practices that will help reduce the above mentioned accidents.
* Identifying all the hazards related to electricity.
* Inspection of all the fall protection equipment.
* Understand the various types and uses of Personal Protection Equipment(PPE).
* Know all the measures taken for fall protection.
* Recognize electrical injuries.
* Examine electricity.
* Identifying all the measures taken to avoid falls.
* Developing a fall protection plan.
* Know the types of Personal Protective Equipment that can help reducing caught in between and struck by injuries.
* Stating the requirements of power tools.
* Illustration of locking out and tagging out electrical circuits.
* Understanding the importance of grounding.
At the end of each lesson, a 5 question quiz will have to be given. Similarly, at the end of each module, a 10 question quiz will have to be written. The pass rate of these quizzes is 80% without which you would not be allowed to proceed to the next quiz or module, respectively. At the very end of your OSHA Focus Four training, a final exam will have to be written. The pass rate of this exam would be 70 %. Shortly after clearing this exam, you will be presented with your OSHA Certificate.
