            (Atlanta, GA---February 17, 2010) Jonathon Prince, a 29-year old Clark Atlanta University graduate, philanthropist and small business executive runs across the United States for the 3rd time. In late 2009 Jonathon Prince embarked on yet another cross country run to help save lives and to offer a message of hope to those that need it. Jonathon’s first run was the “Run 4 Relief” in 2006 and his second run also in 2006 was “Run 4 Relief II“.  To date Jonathon Prince has raised well over $120,000.00 for Charities such as; Habitat 4 Humanity, American Red Cross and many other charitable foundations. “Hope or Die” is Mr. Prince’s current national run campaign. He started this run on October 15th, 2009 in Santa Monica, CA and his finish line is in Washington, DC April 10, 2010.

     The Cross Country runner will be making a stop in Atlanta, GA on Saturday February 19, 2010 where he will be greeted by the CAU Police Department and CAU’s Cross Country track team. Mr. Prince, will later be honored by Clark Atlanta University with a brief awards ceremony.  The ceremony will be held at 12:20p.m on February 19th,

at Jonathon’s alma mater Clark Atlanta University (Student Center).  The program will feature a reception commemorating Jonathon Prince’s 3rd cross country run, a CAU Alumni Awards Presentation, Speech from the Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office and a Thank You speech from Mr. Jonathon Prince. We are encouraging press and media to come out and support Jonathon Prince in his efforts of instilling hope into everyone in the world. 

 

 “Hope or Die” Mission Statement

"As a social 'Athlivist' (athlete-activist) I intend to use my running ability to inspire others to make whatever change may be desperately needed to give their own lives more meaning. It's that 'Hope Factor' that can move mountains! My mission is to promote active healthy lifestyles and philanthropy in addition to raise funds in order to spread the message of HOPE worldwide". The funds are being raised by supporters who watch Prince’s cross country feat and donated contributions via the Hope or Die website, www.hopeordie.org.
